Some years back I came upon this site called “American girls are Easy“, and it had a column titled “How to find a man in Europe and leave him there”. I found this site when I was 16, at an age where I hadn’t been to Europe on my own, and where I most certainly have had no experience whatsoever with European men. It was a time when hearing “Fuck” at a play in Singapore was a big fucking deal, and anyone that was not Asian was looked upon with a certain measure of admiration and apprehension. A great deal of things have changed since then. We are now permitted full on nudity in our plays (even ones that are staged outdoors and rated PG) I have had the opportunity to live in Europe and travel there every summer the last 4 years, and the government has decided that foreigners are important to make the city fun. Also to bring in their foreign dollars and talent, but that is a discussion for another time.

In these series of articles, I will not be going through the different types of Europeans that American Girls are Easy have gone through, but only the ones that they have not explored fully. To be honest, I haven’t spent a lot of time in the places that they have been to, namely Western Europe. But I have spent a significant amount of time in Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe for no particular reason apart from the fact that somehow I just managed to get myself sponsorship to these places to do the things I wanted to do.

Also, these are simply “How to Find a Man in Europe”. Because for me, whenever I find myself a nice European man with an exotic accent and the most peculiar cultural quirks… I never feel like leaving him back there. In fact, I love Europe so much, and for so many reasons that I would much rather just stay there. Especially if I find a man.
